Upon your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a warm welcome from a representative of Dilanka Tours. From there, we’ll transport you to your chosen hotel in the charming coastal town of Negombo. After your journey, take some time to relax and unwind.
In the afternoon, embark on a captivating city tour of Negombo. Explore the town’s rich heritage, including a visit to the Old Dutch Fortress from 1678, which has been transformed into a unique prison. Walk along the picturesque Hamilton Canal, originally built by the Dutch for the transportation of valuable cinnamon. Pay your respects at the old Dutch Cemetery and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the natural fish market. You’ll spend the night in Negombo.
